Additional professionally edited images are available for $10 each, with bulk discounts available. Please note that unedited images do not represent the finished quality or artistic style of Dogs in Focus.

Every final image from Dogs in Focus is carefully selected and individually hand-edited—never processed with a one-click preset. I take the time to correct distractions and imperfections, balance light and shadows, enhance colors, and give each photograph the polished finish that reflects my signature style.

YES! Within 48 hours of your session, you'll receive a preview gallery where you can view all the images and select your favorites for professional editing. This ensures you're getting the moments that matter most to you, just the way you want them.

No. Filters, additional editing, cropping, or other alterations may not be applied to your finished photographs, as they are part of the Dogs in Focus artistic style. If you would like a black-and-white copy or would like to request a re-edit, please reach out—I’m happy to help!

That’s completely okay! Your dog does not need to be perfectly trained, social, or able to sit still. I work with energetic, shy, reactive, easily distracted, and untrained dogs by adjusting the session to their individual needs. We’ll use patience, treats, movement, breaks, and plenty of space to keep your dog comfortable and safe. Leashes can remain on throughout the session and be removed during editing when possible. Every dog deserves beautiful photographs exactly as they are!

I will provide a Print Release in our Contract giving you access to Unlimited Printing Rights. Feel free to reach out for recommended printing services. I do not offer printing options at this time.

We recommend grooming within a day or two of your session, bringing your dog’s favorite treats or toy, and allowing for a light walk beforehand to release excess energy. Most importantly, arrive relaxed and unhurried — your dog will mirror your energy.

Yes, the Highland cows you see in my photos are 100% real—and full of personality. I work closely with a local fold that gives us access to over 25 Highlands, ranging from shaggy little calves to majestic full-grown bulls and mamas. Each one has their own quirks and charm, and many of them are trained to interact gently during sessions. If you’re dreaming of cuddles, snuggles, and unforgettable cow-kisses, you’re in the right place.

Absolutely—kids are welcome! But there are a few important things to keep in mind. Highland cows are gentle by nature, but they are still large animals, and that can be overwhelming for little ones—especially if they’ve never been around livestock before.

If your child is easily frightened or unsure, I’ll do everything I can to make them feel comfortable, but safety always comes first.

Please avoid surprising your child with the experience. I strongly recommend talking with them beforehand and even visiting or observing large animals prior to your session, so they know what to expect.

Newborns and very young babies are not ideal for farm sessions due to the fast-paced and unpredictable nature of working with animals. We work on cow time, and that means lots of moving parts and quick pivots to keep up with our fluffy co-stars.
